   Introduction to  Fighting

Learning the introduction to fighting program is fairly straight forward, male or female, inexperienced, a beginner or not.

Intro to Fight is a proven and effective 12 module program that aims to introduce                                 an array of subjects concerning your personal safety. These training modules can be practiced anywhere, anytime. The theory is explained in 'layman's terms' to be easily comprehended whilst the 'practical' lessons require very little vigor. Physically, 'intro to fighting' is the use of physical force to counter and/ or defeat an immediate threat of violence. Such force can be either armed or unarmed. The chances of success depend on a large number of parameters, related to the severity of the threat on one hand, but also on the mental and physical preparedness of the defender and mentally, the ability to get into the proper mindset for executing a physical act of fighting.

Body movement, body mechanics, and the reaction stimuli are included, also the mainly striking oriented tools of your body, with comprehensive footwork included. Taught is a Introduction to Fighting. not Self Defense. Fighting and Self Defense are 2 quite different circumstances. Fighting is the last aspect of  Self defense. Q and A

What experience have you got in 1. fighting

                                                                2. coaching

                                                                3. online

OK, question #1 - Training in the Fighting Art's began from my early teens up to the time of my ''condition'', (so approx. 35 yrs). I started with the 'traditional' Boxing, went looking for  and found basic Freestyle Wrestling after a School fight where I was soundly beaten, found Judo; then  ventured into Shotokan Karate , went across to Shorin Rye Karate (new to town); mid-teenage years I discovered a 'taste' for motorcycles and a 'interesting' life resulting in a educational period of violence, a opportunity to test and upgrade my fighting skills; escaping the lifestyle I ventured into Wing Chun for a period;  journeyed to a Southern Mantis Kung Fu System; ventured into Muay Thai and Kickboxing; a time with Tai Chi Chuan, Hsing I and BaKua; back into Southern Mantis Boxing (yes, I liked it); spent some time training in MMA, (Mixed Martial Art's); across to BJJ (Brazilian Jui Jitsu); and Greco Wrestling; some more BJJ and MMA. In between I tried 'unsuccessfully' in the Tournaments.

Other ''real life'' experience would include some Amature Boxing; a couple of Amature MMA events; some work as a Doorman (interesting times); Security (Personal Protection) and ''comparison''

times with other like-minded folks when training. So yes, a bit of experience.

Question #2 - Coaching, I''m a qualified Level 1 Coach (Queensland 1980s) - General Sports;             Chief Instructor of the CBS (Chinese Boxing School) ; Instructor of Southern Fist Boxing Kung Fu;

Instructor in Southern Mantis Kung Fu; Trainer/Coach Self Defence for Children;

Trainer/Coach Ladies Self Defence; Consultant /Trainer for Security Guards; Coach of Team SKB MMA.

Question #3- Online, yes it's ''online'' learning. Online Learning involves more

commitment, more analyzing, more knowledge transfer. So yes, It does require

me, (your coach), to actively be more involved, yes it's difficult for me to ensure

you are proficiently trained, but that is what a Coach does , isn't it ..... .
